PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Franciscan SO Maria Binette did not drop a game or a set over the weekend as the Lady Barons opened the season 1-0. Against Marietta, Binette won 6-0, 6-0 at the #2 singles position and 8-0 at #1 doubles.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SR Chelsea Czerwinski picked up two victories for the Lions in the first match of the season, including 6-4, 6-2 wins at #1 singles and then posting an 8-3 victory at #1 doubles for Behrend's first AMCC win...Mount Aloysius SO Emily Goldyn went 3-1 overall over the weekend as she went 2-0 at #1 doubles and 1-1 at #1 singles in matches against Lycoming and Thiel...La Roche JR Kylie Banister won #6 singles 6-1, 6-4 against Geneva on Saturday.
