Whysong had a very dominant week, winning three of her four total matches. She went undefeated in singles, without losing a set, and won all her sets handily. In doubles, she went 1-1 with her partner, and their win was big, at 8-4.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mt. Aloysius SO Payton Whysong had a very dominant week, winning three of her four total matches. She went undefeated in singles, without losing a set, and won all her sets handily. In doubles, she went 1-1 with her partner, and their win was big, at 8-4.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille JR Jasmine Mott was 2-0 on the week, helping the Mavs clinch their first win of the season against the Thiel Tomcats...Franciscan JR Ana Victoria Haddad came back and won a thrilling No. 2 singles match in the team's season opener on Friday; after falling 6-1 in the first set, Haddad came back to win 6-2 in the second and outlast her opponent for a 10-8 tie break win.
