Love went 2-0 against AMCC opponents in a 1-1 overall week for the Mounties, at first singles. Both singles wins were won after losing the first set, by winning a tiebreaking third set. Love also went 2-0 at first doubles with her partner, winning 8-6 against Medaille and sweeping D'Youville 8-0.

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche JR Rochelle Selzer has won all four of her matches so far this season, as she did not give up a single game to her Thiel opponent, she then went on to defeat her Behrend opponent in conference action, and also remains perfect in first doubles, winning both matches 8-4...Pitt-Bradford JR Jessica Jordan was a perfect 2-0 in both singles and doubles during the opening weekend, helping Pitt-Bradford to its first win of the season against Alfred on Saturday...Medaille JR Jasmine Mott continued to impress through the second week of play, as she went the distance with Mt. Aloysius's #1 singles player forcing the deciding set into a tie break before bouncing back against Penn State Altoona, earning herself her second doubles win of the year, while getting back in the win column with an impressive victory in #1 singles against Altoona...PS-Altoona JR Sophia Girol had a great weekend in the Lady Lions' first AMCC matches of the year, going 2-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles, as she recorded victories in No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles against D'Youville, while also picking up a win against Medaille in her #4 singles match...PS-Behrend JR Marissa Bowles went undefeated in the Lions first win of the season, playing at No.1 doubles and singles...Pitt-Greensburg FR Alycia Zummo compiled a singles record of 1-2 and recorded a 2-1 mark in doubles play, as her best match of the week came at Bethany where she posted wins in both singles and doubles play.
