Ruhlman dominated tough competition for the first two AMCC matches of the season. She defeated Behrend's No. 1 after falling behind 0-40 twice, as she went on to win 6-3, 6-1 after picking up the 8-3 win in doubles plage. Ruhlman also earned victories in the top spots against Penn State Altoona, as she got the 8-2 doubles victory before going on to earn a 6-2, 6-2 victory in singles play.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius SO Kierra Mountain started off the 2022-23 season strong, being undefeated in her two contests. She got her first point by teaming with Kendra Sines at #1 Doubles and winning 8-2. Mountain followed that up by winning 6-1, 6-1 at #2 Singles. Her two points helped the Mounties to a 6-3 victory.
