Colaianni had a dominant performance in both singles and doubles for the Lions on opening weekend, helping Penn State Altoona go 2-0 while ascending the singles lineup to the No. 3 spot after being No. 6 last season. In Saturday's victory at AMCC opponent Carlow, she blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0 in No. 3 singles while posting a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles. She continued her success Sunday in a non-conference road match at Waynesburg, winning 6-2, 6-4 in No. 3 singles and 6-0 in No. 3 doubles.
