Madison Kappeler, Penn State Behrend, Women's Track & Field (Field)

Kappeler was the top-finisher in the field for the Lions at the Westminster Invitational with a distance of 16-8 ½ in the long jump. She also placed eighth in the pole vault (10-5 1/4) and 10th in the 100m dash (13.18). Kappeler was a member of the 4x1 relay team that delivered a fourth-place time of 52.04.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend SR Madison Kappeler was the top-finisher in the field for the Lions at the Westminster Invitational with a distance of 16-8 ½ in the long jump. She also placed eighth in the pole vault (10-5 1/4) and 10th in the 100m dash (13.18). Kappeler was a member of the 4x1 relay team that delivered a fourth-place time of 52.04.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Carlow FR Sydney Taylor leapt a personal best 10.55 meters in the triple jump to land in ninth place and was part of the 4x100 relay team that finished 10th with a time of 53.47 as Carlow recorded six top-10 finishes at the Westminster College Invitational Saturday.
