PITT-BRADFORD WINS SECOND WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TITLE IN THREE YEARS

In a seesaw battle that reached five sets, #3 Pitt-Bradford upset top seed and defending champion Penn St. Behrend for their second title in three years.

The Panthers rebounded from a two set hole to claim their third overall title, 18-25, 15-25, 26-24, 25-15, 16-14.

UPB was led by Riley Anderson (15 kills, 13 digsout), Alexandra Segura (13 kills, 5 blocks), Emily Cleveland (14 kills) and Payton Orzech (51 assists and 17 digs).

Behrend got standout performances from Kristin Reiland (15 kills), Lexi Irwin (39 assists, 8 kills) and Amanda Henry (15 kills, 14 digs). 

With the win Pitt-Bradford will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament.  The seedings, pairings and schedule will be announced Monday.
