COACHES SELECT PENN STATE ALTOONA TO DEFEND WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TITLE
The Penn State Altoona women’s volleyball team has been selected by league coaches to defend the AMCC women’s volleyball title in 2024.
The Penn State Altoona women’s volleyball team has been selected by league coaches to defend the AMCC women’s volleyball title in 2024. Alfred State College is expected to finish in second place, with Penn State Behrend rounding out the top three.
The AMCC Preseason Player of the Year is Mount Aloysius junior OH Molly Richards. Richards was the 2023 AMCC Player of the Year and a first team all-conference selection. She finished first in the AMCC in kills per set (4.01) and total kills (417), third in total digs (488), and fourth in digs per set (4.69).
The AMCC Championship will be held November 17 at the site of the #1 seed, with the winner earning the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
