Susan Muldoon, Medaille College

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille OH Susan Muldoon played an integral role in helping the Lady Mavs to a 3-2 start to the 2015 season. She averaged 3.26 kills/set and had 62 total kills to go along with an impressive .329 hitting percentage. This included a season high 15 kills in a five set win over regional powerhouse Nazareth College. Muldoon also chipped in on defense with 24 digs and 14 blocks. Her 3.26 kills/set currently leads the AMCC and she is in the top five in hitting percentage and blocks/set.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend OH Paige Scurpa had three double-doubles in a five-match week, totaling 63 digs, 45 kills and three blocks and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Behrend Invitational...PS-Altoona MH Tori Shingler had a strong week for the Lady Lions, finishing with 36 kills (2.40 kills per set) and seven total blocks (0.47 blocks per set - 3 solo blocks/4 block assists) while hitting at a .317 clip...Mt. Aloysius OH Lindsey Mercer stepped up as a leader to push the Mounties to a 2-2 weekend by recording 18 kills against Morrisville, which ties her personal single match record for total kills...Franciscan S Becca Haven averaged 2.77 digs/set and 6.23 assists/set, posting a career-high 15 digs against Carnegie Mellon and adding once service ace...Pitt-Bradford S Christina Rauh averaged 4.6 assists per set and 3.9 digs per set in a 1-2 week for the Panthers...La Roche OH Laura Nath averaged two kills per game in two matches last week, finishing with eight kills in a sweep of Waynesburg.
