Kelsey Bristol, Penn State Altoona

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona OH Kelsey Bristol kept putting up big numbers for the Lady Lions in a 2-1 week of play. In a 3-1 win at AMCC opponent Mount Aloysius on Tuesday night, she posted 14 kills while tallying a career-high 34 digs, and she added five service aces and three block assists. In a win over Penn College on Friday evening, she had 12 kills, 26 digs, four aces, and one solo block. Later that night against Lycoming, she put up 12 kills, 12 digs, one solo block, and one block assist. On the week, Bristol had 38 kills (3.17 kills per set), 72 digs (6.00 digs per set), nine aces (0.75 aces per set), and six total blocks (0.50 blocks per set).

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche OH Laura Nath continues her strong sophomore campaign with 49 kills, 32 digs and 10 blocks in just two matches and has recorded at least 21 kills in the past three matches...PS-Behrend OH Rachel Frye averaged 2.90 kills per set, knocking in double-digit kills in three matches for the Lions this week, tallying 15 kills on two occasions, while adding 16 digs, seven blocks and four aces...Pitt-Bradford S Christina Rauh had a double-double of 42 assists and 10 digs to go along with six aces, four kills and a solo block against D'Youville to keep Pitt-Bradford undefeated in the conference at 5-0...Mount Aloysius MH Sarah Fisher averaged 1.75 kills per set while swinging at a .250 clip and also picked up three blocks against PS-Altoona.
