Bayer led the Lady Barons to a 2-2 weekend at the Marietta River City Classic. She averaged 3.60 kills per set and currently leads the AMCC. Bayer had a career-day with 23 kills, two aces, and 26 digs in a Franciscan 3-2 win over Berea to wrap up the weekend. She had double-digit kill and assists totals in three of the four matches this past weekend. In four matches, Bayer averaged 3.60 kills per set, 3.60 digs per set, 0.47 blocks per set and added eight service aces. She racked up 65.5 points, for an average of 4.4 points per set.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State OH Kiara Perkins helped lead the volleyball team to a 2-1 record at the Cazenovia Invitational this past weekend, leading the team with 39 kills and recording at least nine kills in all three matches, while also chipping in 78 digs and eight service aces...PS-Behrend L Madison Clapper eclipsed the 1,000 dig mark for her career in the first match of the season, a 3-0 win over D'Youville, she then tallied a career-high 45 digs in a five-set match against Morrisville State on Saturday, while also adding 10 aces on the weekend...Pitt-Bradford OH Emily Cleveland led the Panthers to a 2-2 weekend against some stiff competition, knocking 2.71 kills per set with 38 total while hitting at a .210 percentage, while also recording double-digit kills in three of the team's four matches...PS-Altoona OH Jenna Bauer opened her freshman season with a strong performance against Chatham on Saturday, a 3-0 win for Penn State Altoona at home, where she totaled 13 points (4.3 points per set), nine kills (3.00 kills per set), five digs (1.67 digs per set), and four service aces (1.33 aces per set), while also swinging at a .350 clip...Pitt-Greensburg FR Savanna Stephens led the Bobcats at the St. Vincent College Invitational with 28 kills and 30.5 points, as she posted a .235 hitting percentage and was named to the All-Tournament Team...Mt. Aloysius S Emma Pevarnik helped her team to their first win of the season, with a season high 28 assists against Ursinus, she then picked up another 22 assists in the second game of the season, and recorded her 1,000th career assist before adding 19 more in their third game...Medaille S Sierra Wells was a key piece for the Mavs in her first matches at Medaille, as she racked up 91 total assists, averaging 6.07 assists per set, while also adding 26 digs and five kills at the Haverford Tournament...La Roche S Bailey McDonald led the Redhawks to a 1-2 record, as she averaged 3.60 assists per set and added 1.5 digs and 0.70 kills per set, while also garnering all-tournament honors to open up the season...Hilbert MH Ashley Repine led the Hawks with a 2.50 kills per set average, earning her first double double of 14 kills/13 digs against Lasell, while also adding three solo blocks which helped Hilbert earn their first set-win dating back to Sep. 20, 2018.
