DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche MH Kylie Fehlman was dominant on the defensive end for the Redhawks this past week. In Wednesday's 3-0 win over Carlow, Fehlman picked up seven total blocks (one solo block/six assisted blocks), averaging 2.33 blocks per set. In Saturday's defeat at Alfred State, Fehlman picked up four more blocks, all solo blocks. For the week, Fehlman recorded 11 total blocks (five solo/six assisted), averaging 1.83 blocks per set and eight kills.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona L Anna Batrus led all players in digs in each of the Lions' matches during Saturday's tri-match at Penn State Behrend, as she totaled a match-leading 28 digs in the Lions' 3-2 win over AMCC opponent Behrend, then duplicated that total when she led all players with 28 digs in her team's 3-2 loss to non-conference opponent Wooster...Pitt-Greensbug DS Alanna Meloy was a key component of the Bobcats going 2-0 in AMCC play, as she had a career-high 31 digs against Hilbert and a total of 49 digs on the week, averaging 4.90 digs per set...PS-Behrend RS Hannah Smith tallied nine block assists and nine kills against Altoona on Saturday, finishing the week with 11 blocks, 18 kills and three digs...Mount Aloysius L Madison Barr had a solid week for the Mounties on defense, leading them in digs, as she recorded 26 digs (5.20 d/s) in Wednesday's five-set loss to Pitt-Greensburg, she then followed that up with 18 digs in a 3-1 win against Pitt-Bradford...Hilbert L Natalie Ruhlmann stood strong defensively for the Hawks earning 17 digs, adding four kills, and four aces in a loss to Pitt-Greensburg...Carlow L Kelsey Sufak tallied 11 digs in Carlow's 3-0 loss to La Roche.
