WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM RELEASED; HARTLE TAKES TOP HONORS
Penn State Behrend senior Lindsey Hartle has been named the AMCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year. Hartle earned her first AMCC Individual Championship this season after finishing runner up at last year’s championships. The senior clocked in at 25:55.2 to cross the finish line first. The senior is a four-time all-conference selection and four-time Academic All-AMCC honoree. Her best 6K time this season was at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble when she finished in 24:33.4.
Penn State Behrend freshman Kelsey Hanna is the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Hanna was the leading freshman for the Lions this season, landing in the Top 15 times in the AMCC twice. Her best race was 24:59.8 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble. Hanna was fourth at the AMCC Championships and the first freshman to cross in 26:36.9.
Penn State Behrend head coach Greg Cooper has been tabbed the AMCC Coach of the Year. Cooper guided the Lions to their 15th overall, and seventh straight, AMCC title this season.
