Della Valle helped the Mounties to a 2-0 week with a very solid defensive performance. In the Mounties' win against Penn State Altoona, Della Valle had 46 receptions and just one error, to go with 28 digs (7.00 digs per set). She followed that up with 18 digs and 14 receptions, with just one error, in a win against Hilbert on Sunday. For the week, Della Valle averaged 6.57 digs per set.

Friess recorded the program's first 20-20 game ever in a win against Carlow. She led the Bobcats with 26 kills and 27 digs in the match, along with three blocks and two aces. She followed that up against Penn State Behrend and Oberlin with a combined 23 kills, 20 digs, two blocks and two aces, recording a double-double in the match with Penn State Behrend. For the week, Friess averaged 4.08 kills per set, 3.92 digs per set, while adding five blocks, four service aces, and three assists. She racked up 57.5 points on the week, averaging 4.8 points per set (including 5.5 points per set in conference play).

The AMCC Women's Volleyball Game of the Week features the Alfred State College Pioneers traveling to Altoona, PA to take on the Lions of Penn State Altoona.

Batrus led the Lions in digs during a 2-0 week of AMCC play that consisted of a pair of 3-0 sweeps over Carlow and Pitt-Bradford. Against Carlow at home on Tuesday night, the junior totaled 17 digs. She finished with 16 at Pitt-Bradford on Saturday. On the week, Batrus totaled 33 digs and averaged 5.5 digs per set.

Ferrer Santiago tallied two double-doubles on the week while totaling 91 assists, 42 digs, 13 aces, and nine kills. In the first match against Wells she came away with 43 assists, 22 digs, and five aces. She followed that with a 27 assist, and nine kill game against Pitt. Greensburg. She ended the week with a 21 assist, 11 dig game, while also adding six aces.

The Mount Aloysius College women's volleyball team will travel to Aurora, NY on Saturday to take on Wells College in the AMCC Game of the Week.

Kerkan had another strong week defensively, with 50 digs in two matches. She averaged 5.2 digs per set in a 3-2 win against Carlow, then averaged 8.00 digs per set against Alfred State. Kerkan also added nine assists, one kill and a service ace to her weekly total.

Williamson helped lead the Express to two big road conference wins this week. Against Hilbert, she had 10 kills on a .450% and against Carlow, she had 14 kills on a .400%. She also had three service aces against Hilbert and two against Carlow. On the week, Williamson averaged 3.43 kills per set with a .420 hitting percentage while adding seven blocks and seven digs. Williamson leads the Express in kills per set (2.82), total kills (189), hitting percentage (.322), and blocks per set (.75) this season. She is currently second in the conference in hitting percentage and fifth in aces per set. She has played a huge role in helping the Express find their way to being tied for first in the conference.

The Penn State Behrend Lions and Penn State Altoona Lions will clash on Saturday afternoon in the AMCC Women's Volleyball Game of the Week. Behrend and Altoona are two of the final three teams undefeated in the AMCC, with Wells College being the third.

Barnhart had a strong week defensively for the Lions in a pair of 3-0 wins over AMCC opponents Pitt-Greensburg and Hilbert, totaling 21 digs in each match. She compiled 42 digs on the week and averaged 7.0 digs per set, while also chipping in one block assist.

Richards had a big week for the Mounties, as she leads the AMCC in both total kills and total digs after the first two conference matches. In the Mounties' win against La Roche, she registered 23 kills and an impressive 35 digs, helping the Mounties come-from-behind to beat the Redhawks. Then, in Saturday's match against Penn State Behrend, the sophomore tallied 24 kills and racked up another 27 digs. Not only did she have high totals, she also ranks first in kills per set (4.70) and fourth in digs per set (6.20).

Batrus continued to thrive as the starting libero for the Lions last week in a trio of non-conference matches. In Wednesday night's loss at Gettysburg, she posted 16 digs. In a win over Penn State Berks on Saturday, she had 28, then followed that up with 15 digs later that day in a loss to Stevenson. On the week, Batrus recorded 59 digs and averaged 5.9 digs per set.

Santiago ended the weekend with three double-doubles, as she tallied 92 assists at 8.32 assists per set, 40 digs, 15 kills, and 14 aces. In the first game against SUNY Poly, she tallied 30 assists,16 digs, seven aces, and five kills. She followed that with a 37 assist and 14 dig double-double against SUNY Canton. She also added six kills and two aces. Santiago ended the weekend with 25 assists and 10 digs against Oswego. She also came away with five aces and four kills.

Batrus kept racking up digs in a 1-1 week of non-conference play for the Lions, finishing with 26 in Tuesday night's loss at Lycoming and posting 18 in Friday night's home win over Penn College. Batrus recorded a total of 44 digs last week, averaging 6.29 digs per set.

Goodsel dished out 119 assists in a 3-0 week for the Lions. She tallied a season-high 49 assists and added 15 digs in a four-set win over Thiel to start the week. Goodsel posted two double-doubles, including 37 assists and 10 digs vs. William Patterson. For the week, she averaged 9.92 assists and 2.75 digs. Goodsel also recorded nine kills and five service aces.

Batrus continued to rack up digs for the Lions last week in a pair of non-conference road matches against Geneva and Elizabethtown. On Tuesday night at Geneva, the junior libero had 24 digs, and she followed that up with 22 at Elizabethtown on Thursday night. On the week, she totaled 46 digs and averaged 7.67 digs per set.

Richards had a double-double in each of the Mounties' games over the week. In their loss to Penn College, she produced 19 kills and ten digs, hitting .238 for the game. She then topped both numbers against PSU-Harrisburg, with 20 kills and 20 digs, the first 20-20 game of her career. She ranks second in in the AMCC in total kills and kills per set, and just outside the top ten in both digs and digs per set.

Nobach tallied 75 digs over four matches, averaging 5.77 digs per set to help Behrend go 3-1 at its home invitational. She tallied 21 digs vs. Utica to reach 500 for her career and then added a season-best 22 in the win over Westminster.

Phillips averaged 4.08 kills and 3.31 digs in a 3-1 weekend for the Lions. She posted her third double-double with a season-high 22 kills and 21 digs in a 3-1 win over Westminster. She also added six assists and six service aces.

Batrus anchored the Lions' defense this past weekend during the Bearcat Challenge at St. Vincent College, after which she was named to the All-Tournament team. In matches against Gallaudet, St. Vincent, Westminster, and Franciscan, she totaled 88 digs, averaging 5.18 digs per set.

Gerstenberger recorded a double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs in the first match of the season. On Saturday, Alfred State relied heavily on Gerstenberger who had 18 kills and 24 digs in the game one victory against Lancaster Bible. In game two, Gerstenberger had 19 kills and 12 digs to lead the Pioneers. For the week, she averaged 4.08 kills per set, 3.69 digs per set, along with six service aces and a .315 hitting percentage over three games.
