Louis was undefeated in both singles and doubles action this past weekend. He only allowed two set points in all three singles matches. Louis tallied two wins at No. 3 singles and another at No. 4. He competed at No. 1 doubles, winning all three matches by a score of 6-2.
Hess had a dominant week for the Lions, surrendering just two games in a combined nine sets in singles and doubles. In a win at non-conference opponent Lycoming on Friday night, he had a 6-1, 6-0 win in No. 1 singles and a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles. In Sunday's doubleheader sweep at AMCC foe Pitt-Greensburg, he won both of his No. 1 singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 decisions, and was also part of a pair of 6-0 wins at No. 1 doubles. The senior went 3-0 overall in No. 1 singles and 3-0 in No. 1 doubles.
Laier was undefeated in AMCC action in both singles and doubles last week. He posted wins at the No. 1 spot, helping the Lions avenge a 5-2 loss to Altoona last week. Laier registered a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles and also tallied a 6-2 doubles decision.
Hess picked up his fifth singles win of the season on Sunday, when he defeated his opponent from AMCC opponent Penn State Behrend 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 1 match.
Beard teamed up with Casey Hess for a 6-0 victory in the No. 1 doubles match, then posted the match-clinching win for the Lions with his 7-5, 6-2 triumph at No. 2 singles in Saturday's 7-0 win at non-conference opponent Penn College.
Pikalo posted a 2-1 overall record in both doubles and singles last week. He tallied a 6-3, 6-3 decision at No. 3 singles and posted a 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles in the Lions' first AMCC win of the season.
