The Elizabethtown women's tennis team defeated Penn State Behrend 5-1 in the first round of the 2016 NCAA Division III Championships held at the Proctor Tennis Courts on the campus of Middlebury College.e to the order of finish.

Miller helped the Lions win their 13th AMCC title, winning the finals singles match at No. 5. The championship came down to this match and the senior rallied back from being down a set to win the next two for the AMCC crown.

Colucci helped account for two of her team's five points in a 5-1 win over Mount Aloysius College in the first round of the AMCC Tournament on Saturday. In No. 1 doubles alongside her partner Emilee Hollingsworth, she won 8-5. In No. 1 singles, she prevailed 6-1, 6-1.

Barrett had an impressive week leading the Lady Mavs with a (3-0) singles record and a (3-0) doubles record. She also notched her 20th career singles win on the week which is a Medaille Women's Tennis Program record.
Landman continued her league dominance, posting a 4-0 record this week at #1 singles and a 3-1 record at #1 doubles. Landman won four singles matches in straight sets and has won an incredible 32 consecutive sets in AMCC play, dating back to 2013.
Czerwinski remains undefeated in conference singles and doubles play. She went 3-0 at No. 1 singles this week to help the Lions stay on top of the AMCC. She posted a 2-1 record in doubles action.
Laffey went 6-0 on the week. Laffey only surrendered two set points in action, posting a 3-0 record at No. 2 singles. She also went undefeated in doubles action with three wins at the No. 1 spot.
Stoehr led the Lady Mounties tennis team to two wins over the weekend against non-conference foes Thiel and Lycoming College. Teaming with partner Emily Goldyn, Stoehr and Goldyn won at #1 doubles 8-6 against Thiel College. Then playing #1 doubles against Lycoming College, the pair won 8-0 not giving up a game. Stoehr won both of her singles matches in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 at the #3 position against Thiel and 7-5, 6-2 in the #2 position against Lycoming, getting the Lady Mounties off to a 2-0 start.
