The La Roche College women's basketball team has drawn defending National Champion Thomas More College in an NCAA First Round Game on Friday night.
La Roche's TiChina Mitchell averaged 27.5 points and 10 rebounds and 3 assists in two tournament games as the Lady Redhawks went on to win their sixth straight AMCC Championship. She scored 26 points in La Roche's 96-47 victory over D'Youville in the Semifinals before a 29 point, 14 rebound and 5 assist output in their 82-59 win over Pitt-Bradford in the championship game. Mitchell also went a perfect 14 for 14 from the free throw line.
After an 82-59 victory over Pitt-Bradford, La Roche College claimed their sixth consecutive AMCC women's basketball championship.
